Civilian Training Programs
A common-sense approach designed to work in real life — at home, in public environments, and in advanced working or sport settings.
Working K9 applies proven methods drawn from multiple international disciplines. The goal is simple: create clear communication, reliable control, and confident handling — without unnecessary complexity.
Training is grounded in four core principles: Trust, Respect, Obligation, and Teamwork — the T.R.O.T. system.
Leadership & Experience
Built on decades of practical handling and continuous study — with training programs tailored to clear goals and long-term progress.
Head Trainer — Antonio Pallotta
Tony Pallotta brings over 25 years of professional dog training experience, beginning in obedience and advancing into elite working-dog disciplines including Schutzhund, protection sports, and real-world personal protection. His career has been shaped by a relentless drive to question, refine, and improve training methods beyond traditional, patterned systems.
Through extensive international training in Italy, Austria, and the Netherlands, including work within the prestigious KNPV program, Tony developed the TROT System — Trust, Respect, Obligation, Teamwork. Used exclusively at WorkingK9, this system delivers fast, reliable results and has helped produce some of the youngest successfully certified police K9s, with several advancing directly into SWAT service.
